The iPhone 17

Apple unveiled its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's updates to three known models and the all-new iPhone Air, that takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If waiting in line on release day isn't your style, and you still need to get your hands on one as soon as possible, you'll be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, in advance of the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after a long wait (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.

Inside, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster as well as more efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you will notice a significant increase in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
On the camera front, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more detailed.

Available iPhone 17 Colour Options

The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in colour options such as black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in colours including blue, orange and silver.
